ANTICA OFFICINA DEL FARMACISTA was established in 1983 to enable Dr. Paolo Vranjes, pharmacist, chemist, cosmetologist, to produce and market, with his skilled staff, innovative treatments; every product is a perfect combination of innovative technology and tireless research, experience and tradition.
In his boutique-laboratory in the heart of Florence, dr. Vranjes continues his research into the fields of cosmetology and fragrances for personal use and for the home.
Starting from his research in the essences, which are the true soul of each of his creations, great care is taken in the development and manufacture of all of his products. Both Dr. Vranjes and his staff share this keen attention to detail.
As dr. Paolo Vranjes says: "the culture of perfumes has been infused in me by my grandfather, a well known silk trader. He had a passion for collecting essences and perfumes, which he searched for during his travels.
I, his only grandson, was both curious and fascinated by the room where my grandfather spent hours among rare perfumes and costly bottles. I observed him in silence while he worked in his private world of fragrances until finally he realized that I was there.
I remember his surprised smile; nobody had ever stepped into that room. He made me promise not to touch anything. But from that day we passed many more together. My passion and my culture were born in that room".
